💡 Pro Tip: Admission into YSU is purely merit-driven via an online screening process. It is non-negotiable that candidates must select YSU as their First Choice. While 150 guarantees screening eligibility for many courses, those aiming for the College of Medical Sciences or the Faculty of Law should target much higher JAMB scores. Because physical screening is bypassed, candidates must be meticulous when uploading their O'Level results, Birth Certificates, and Indigene Letters to both the YSU portal and JAMB CAPS to avoid disqualification.
Direct Entry candidates must possess a minimum of Lower Credit in a National Diploma (ND) or an applicable NCE/IJMB result. DE applicants must apply through the YSU portal and ensure their original transcripts/results are uploaded alongside their O'Level certificates.
YSU conducts a purely online document screening process. Physical presence is not required. Candidates must log into the portal, generate a REMITA code, pay the screening fee, and upload clear scanned copies of their JAMB result, O'Level results, Indigene Certificate, and Birth Certificate. Uploading O'Level results to the JAMB CAPS portal is strictly mandatory.
