If you are here, popular off-campus student areas include 'Yellow Duke', 'Anantigha', and 'Mount Zion'. Calabar South is very lively but requires you to be highly street-smart regarding night movement. However, if you are studying Agriculture, you will be posted to the Obubra campus. Management students go to Ogoja, and Basic Medical students go to Okuku (Yala LGA). These campuses are literally hours away from Calabar city. Renting a lodge in Calabar when your lectures are in Ogoja is a logistical disaster that will force you to forfeit your rent.
