The baseline cutoff mark for TASU is officially 150. However, competitive courses (especially in the Faculty of Health Sciences, Engineering, and Law) demand higher aggregates for guaranteed admission.
Use of English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
Five (5) O'Level Credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at not more than two sittings (Note: Highly competitive federal departments frequently enforce a single-sitting rule).
TASU conducts a strictly online Admission Screening Exercise; there is no physical Post-UTME examination. Candidates must use their JAMB Registration Number to log in and upload clear scanned copies of their O'Level result(s), JAMB Result Slip, Birth Certificate, Indigene Letter, NIN, and a recent passport photograph (white background, JPEG, max 100kb). Uploading O'Level results to JAMB CAPS at an accredited CBT center is strictly mandatory.
Direct Entry candidates must choose TASU as their first choice. They must possess a minimum of Lower Credit in National Diploma (ND), Merit in NCE, or at least two IJMB/JUPEB/'A' Level passes in relevant subjects. DE applicants must upload these advanced level results during the online screening.
The single biggest mistake candidates make when applying for Nursing Science at TASU is assuming that hitting the university's baseline general cut-off mark ensures eligibility for the screening process. Nursing operates inside highly restrictive capacity caps mandated by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN). If you score below the hard departmental minimum, your portal choice will face immediate drop filters regardless of aggregate score metrics.
