Direct Entry Rules
Direct Entry candidates must make PLASU their first choice and possess a relevant National Diploma (Minimum of Lower Credit), NCE (passes in two major subjects), two A-Level passes, or IJMB passes with additional O'Level credits.
Post UTME Screening Format
PLASU conducts a strict online Post-UTME and physical screening. Candidates must upload their O'Level results along with a valid result checker scratch card for verification. Failure to provide a valid WAEC/NECO scratch card during the physical clearance will lead to instant disqualification.

On-campus accommodation covers only a fraction of the total student population approximately 700 bed spaces against a student body of roughly 10,000 so many returning students live off-campus in Bokkos town or commute from surrounding villages.
TETFund completed a new 192-capacity female hostel in November 2024, with the university committing to further expansion as additional blocks are completed.
