🎯

Admission Hack

Plateau State University is rapidly expanding and recently commissioned brand new faculties, including the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Health Sciences. Because programmes like Nursing Science, Public Health, and Medical Laboratory Science are relatively new at PLASU, they present an excellent strategic backdoor for health science applicants who might face insurmountable bottlenecks in older, saturated state universities. Ensure you make PLASU your absolute first choice on JAMB CAPS. Additionally, you MUST purchase and present a valid WAEC/NECO scratch card during your physical clearance; many students lose their admission because they fail to provide this for result verification.

🏠

Campus Survival

If you are admitted to PLASU, you must prepare for the weather. Bokkos has a very distinct, temperate climate compared to most parts of Nigeriait gets extremely cold, especially during the harmattan season, so packing thick clothing is non-negotiable. The university officially mandates that all fresh students live on campus. The accommodation fees range from ₦30,000 for standard chalets to ₦50,000 for the newer TETFund Hostels. Securing this on-campus accommodation is crucial for your comfort, security, and quick integration into the campus culture.
