KASU utilizes a strictly tiered cut-off mark system. Agriculture, Arts, Education, and Physical Sciences require a minimum of 170. Social Sciences, Management, Mass Communication, and Life Sciences require 180. Computing, Engineering, Allied Health Sciences, and Pharmacy require 200. Medicine & Surgery requires a minimum of 220.

KASU conducts a strictly online Post-UTME screening and a 100% remote post-admission registration process. Candidates apply via the SAFApply portal. Once admitted on JAMB CAPS, candidates must purchase a Verification Token online to verify their O'Level results. Upon successful verification, KASU issues a 'Conditional Offer' via email containing the link to pay the acceptance fee.
Direct Entry candidates must choose KASU as their first choice. IJMB candidates require a minimum of 7 points for most courses, 12 points for Allied Health/Pharmacy, and 13 points for Medicine & Surgery. Candidates with an NCE or National Diploma must possess a minimum of 10 points (Lower Credit) in relevant fields.
