FUTMINNA requires candidates to select the university as their First Choice institution. Applicants must possess at least five (5) O'Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in subjects relevant to their proposed programme, obtained in not more than two (2) sittings.

Undergraduate UTME

Candidates must achieve the prescribed JAMB cut-off and participate in the University Pre-Admission Screening Exercise (UPASE).

Undergraduate Direct Entry

Direct Entry candidates must select FUTMINNA as their First Choice institution and possess a relevant qualification. The general minimum is Lower Credit for ND/HND qualifications or Merit for NCE, alongside the applicable O'Level requirements. Programme-specific Direct Entry requirements may be higher.

The 'Bosso' campus is right inside the town and much closer to markets, but houses fewer faculties. Finally, pack highly breathable clothing—Minna is notorious for its extremely hot weather for most of the year.
