EDSU operates a premium fee model. Arts/Social Sciences range from ₦205,650 to ₦450,000. Engineering and Computer Science are ₦603,500. Medical Laboratory Science is ₦1,225,625, Nursing is ₦1,844,375, Law is ₦1,991,250, and Medicine (MBBS) is ₦3,900,600. Note: MBBS students pay clinical fees of ₦500,000 at 300L and ₦1,000,000 for 400-600L. Nursing and MLS students pay ₦700,000 for clinicals from 300L. Mandatory fees include Edo Health Insurance (₦25,000), Learning Management System (₦40,000), and Matriculation Gown (₦20,000). Accommodation is strictly compulsory, ranging from ₦110,000 to ₦250,000.

💡 Pro Tip: Admission into EDSU is straightforward for general courses if you meet the 150 JAMB cutoff and possess 5 O'Level credits. However, if you are applying for Medicine and Surgery, you must have your O'Level credits in a single sitting. For professionals with an HND, the EDSU 24-month Conversion Programme is an excellent pathway to upgrade your certification to a full B.Sc. degree.
Direct Entry candidates require a minimum of Merit in NCE, Credit in OND/HND, a University degree, or IJMB/JUPEB/A-Level passes in relevant subjects, in addition to meeting the standard O'Level requirements.
EDSU conducts an internal screening exercise. Inter-university transfer candidates are accepted provided they hold a minimum CGPA of 1.5, have their JAMB admission letter, forward their official transcripts, and purchase the ₦60,000 transfer form.
