Direct Entry Rules
Direct Entry candidates must choose AAUA as their first choice and possess one of the following: a 1st Degree (Second Class Lower Division), ND (Upper Credit), HND (Lower Credit), JUPEB (minimum of 6 Points), or NCE (minimum of 8 Points). All DE candidates must participate in the online screening.
Post UTME Screening Format
AAUA conducts a mandatory online Post-UTME screening. Candidates are required to pay a total of ₦5,000 (₦2,000 for Post-UTME Registration and ₦3,000 for Portal Access Fee) via E-tranzact. O'Level results must be uploaded accurately to both the university portal and JAMB CAPS.

Because these programs are brand new, the admission pool is not yet as fiercely saturated as older universities, making it a brilliant strategic backdoor for health science applicants. However, beware of two strict administrative traps: first, AAUA strictly enforces a '16 years by September 30th' age limitif you are 15, the portal will automatically disqualify you. The cost of living, food, and rent here is significantly lower than in big cities like Lagos or Akure. However, because of the hills, the primary mode of transportation is motorcycles (Okada). When securing off-campus accommodation, strongly prioritize lodges that are within walking distance to the campus gate to save yourself from daily transport fares and the hassle of navigating the steep roads during the rainy season.
