As a State University, ADSU's school fees are tiered based on the student's state of origin (indigene vs. non-indigene), level of study, and faculty. Adamawa State University (ADSU), located in the historic town of Mubi, was established in 2002 to fast-track educational and socio-economic development in the North East geopolitical zone. ADSU is committed to nurturing potential talents through a diverse range of accredited undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The university operates robust faculties, including a highly sought-after Faculty of Law and a consolidated Faculty of Social and Management Science.
ADSU provides a structured, discipline-oriented learning environment across its Mubi and Sahuda campuses. Students have access to well-equipped science laboratories, modern libraries, and specialized entrepreneurial centers. The university heavily leverages digitized portals to streamline course registrations, applications, and student tracking, ensuring a seamless academic experience.
💡 Pro Tip: Admission into ADSU is merit-based and tiered. To secure an undergraduate spot, make ADSU your First Choice and upload your O'Level results to the JAMB CAPS portal. While 150 guarantees eligibility for most programs, candidates targeting Sciences or Law must aim significantly higher. Postgraduate applicants (PGD, M.Sc, Ph.D.) should prepare their academic transcripts and NYSC certificates early, as these are strictly enforced requirements.
Direct Entry candidates must possess an applicable NCE, IJMB, or a National Diploma (ND) certificate. They must apply through the ADSU portal and fulfill all standard O'Level prerequisites alongside their advanced qualifications.
ADSU utilizes a mandatory online document screening process. Candidates must log into the portal, pay the non-refundable screening fee, and correctly upload scanned copies of their UTME/DE slips and O'Level results. Uploading O'Level results to the JAMB CAPS portal is strictly mandatory.
