ATBU conducts a strictly online document-based Post-UTME screening. Candidates must register on portal.atbu.edu.ng, pay the ₦2,000 processing fee via Remita, and upload their O'Level results. No physical CBT exam is written. Admission aggregate is calculated based on JAMB scores and O'Level grades, which must be concurrently uploaded to the JAMB CAPS portal.
Direct Entry candidates must apply through JAMB and possess a minimum of Lower Credit in ND/HND, Merit in NCE, or an acceptable grade in IJMB/A'Level qualifications in relevant fields. They must also participate in the ATBU online screening.
The single biggest mistake candidates make when applying for Nursing Science at ATBU is assuming that hitting the university's baseline general cut-off mark ensures eligibility for the screening process. Nursing operates inside highly restrictive capacity caps mandated by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN). If you score below the hard departmental minimum, your portal choice will face immediate drop filters regardless of aggregate score metrics.
