The College of Education, Warri (COEWA) is a premier state-owned teacher-training institution located in the bustling commercial hub of Warri, Delta State. Originally established in 1979 in Benin City before relocating to Warri, the college operates a massive 27-hectare campus. Today, COE Warri is renowned for its vast array of NCE dual-major programs—particularly its unique regional language studies (Isoko, Izon, Itsekiri, Urhobo)—and its highly robust Bachelor's Degree tracks offered in affiliation with Delta State University (DELSU), the University of Benin (UNIBEN), and Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE).
