Applicants are evaluated based on their official High School Transcripts (SS1-3), JAMB scores, a Letter of Recommendation (from a principal or dean), and a mandatory Personal Essay detailing their reasons for choosing AUN and future ambitions. International enrollees must surrender valid travel/visa documents to Student Affairs upon arrival.

Transfer applicants must submit all undergraduate transcripts with course descriptions. A Personal Essay and a Letter of Recommendation from a university dean/administrator are mandatory.
The single biggest mistake candidates make when applying for Nursing Science at AUN is assuming that hitting the university's baseline general cut-off mark ensures eligibility for the screening process. Nursing operates inside highly restrictive capacity caps mandated by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN). If you score below the hard departmental minimum, your portal choice will face immediate drop filters regardless of aggregate score metrics.
