Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) is a prestigious state-owned university in Ondo State, Nigeria. Originally established as Obafemi Awolowo University in 1982, it was relocated to Akungba-Akoko and renamed in 1999 to honor the late Governor, Chief Michael Adekunle Ajasin. Known as the 'University properly called', AAUA boasts highly rated academic divisions, including one of the best Law Faculties in Nigeria—featuring a fully functional Law Clinic and Moot Court—and a newly established Faculty of Allied Health Sciences (2024).

Direct Entry candidates must choose AAUA as their first choice and possess one of the following: a 1st Degree (Second Class Lower Division), ND (Upper Credit), HND (Lower Credit), JUPEB (minimum of 6 Points), or NCE (minimum of 8 Points). All DE candidates must participate in the online screening.
AAUA conducts a mandatory online Post-UTME screening. Candidates are required to pay a total of ₦5,000 (₦2,000 for Post-UTME Registration and ₦3,000 for Portal Access Fee) via E-tranzact. O'Level results must be uploaded accurately to both the university portal and JAMB CAPS.
